Right of withdrawal for services

If you enter into a distance contract for services with us as a consumer, you may generally withdraw within 14 days without giving a reason. The period begins when the contract is formed, but not before the statutory conditions for its commencement are met, particularly proper information about your right of withdrawal.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, tell us unambiguously which contract you are withdrawing from. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send your withdrawal notice before the withdrawal period expires.

Withdraw electronically

You can find the electronic withdrawal function at ‘Withdraw from a contract’ and through the highlighted button with the same name in every page's footer. Enter your name, a description of the contract or part of it, and the email address for confirmation. After reviewing your details, submit the statement using ‘Confirm withdrawal’.

You do not need a customer account or a reason for withdrawal. A contract number is not mandatory; a sufficiently clear description is enough. If you use this function, you receive an acknowledgement of receipt without delay on a durable medium, usually by email, containing the statement and the date and time of receipt. You can also save the confirmation on the page as a text file.

Consequences of withdrawal

Following a valid withdrawal, we reimburse payments received from you for the withdrawn contract without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receipt of the withdrawal notice. Reimbursement generally uses the same payment method as the original payment. We use a different method only if expressly agreed with you. No reimbursement fees are charged.

If any delivery costs were incurred, reimbursement also covers these, except additional costs arising solely from choosing a more expensive delivery method than the least expensive standard delivery offered. The digitally delivered services offered here have no shipping charges.

Starting services before the period ends

An early start of a paid service requires a separate agreement. Your enquiry or agreement to the terms is not sufficient. If you expressly requested that we begin before the withdrawal period ends and the statutory information and declaration requirements have been met, withdrawal may require payment for services already performed. The amount is based on the proportion performed in relation to the total agreed contractual scope. If the agreed total price is disproportionately high, compensation is calculated using the market value of the service performed.

For a paid service, the right of withdrawal expires early only after full performance and only if, before work began, you expressly consented to the early start and acknowledged that full performance would end your right of withdrawal. Further statutory conditions remain unaffected. Simply beginning a service or preparing it individually does not automatically end this right.

Non-binding enquiries and business customers

The enquiry form does not conclude a contract. If you only wish to withdraw an enquiry, a short message to info@sandundmehr.comis sufficient, preferably including the enquiry reference. No consumer withdrawal period needs to be observed for this.

A statutory consumer right of withdrawal generally does not apply to a contract you enter into as a business for your commercial or independent professional activity. Separately agreed withdrawal rights and other statutory rights remain unaffected. Providing a withdrawal form does not create an additional right; an acknowledgement of receipt does not determine the legal effect of your statement.
