What this covers

Can I improve product pages and basket without rebuilding the shop?

Yes, if the intended changes are possible in the existing system. The package addresses clearly defined areas of a running shop, such as clearer variant selection, compact basket rows or easier mobile navigation. Goals and intended presentation must be established first.

We check theme, extensions and technical limits. Changes are implemented in a suitable test environment and checked along the agreed purchase journey. If customer difficulties remain unclear, a shop diagnosis may provide the basis first. Implementation does not automatically replace that investigation.

Shop functions have more states than a normal product image

Variant selection must handle unavailable combinations. A basket needs empty states, loading feedback and clear errors. These belong to useful implementation and are explicitly considered for agreed changes.

Options differ between platforms and plans. Checkout changes may be particularly limited. We clarify actual modification options in the specific system before confirming scope. Backend prices and order rules remain authoritative.

Does this sound familiar?

Individual purchase areas need revision

A product page or basket needs specific changes. We limit affected page types rather than turning the task into an unrequested full relaunch.

New controls do not fit together

Saved lists, variant selection and purchase buttons need coordinated states. Changes are implemented within the existing design system.

The mobile purchase journey is cumbersome

Touch areas, sequence and space can cause problems on small devices. We test agreed changes in the actual shop flow.

How we approach it.

  1. Review the system and modification options

We examine theme, platform and relevant extensions. Limits are clarified first so the agreed scope is feasible in the existing shop.

  2. Implement changes in the test shop

Defined elements are adjusted with relevant states. Product data and prices continue to come from intended shop functions.

  3. Check purchase journey and handover

We check affected steps in a test environment. Handover identifies changed files, dependencies and the agreed publication process.

After handover

An interface change can address usability problems but does not alone prove improved conversion. Assessing impact requires suitable measurement and a comparison baseline.

Work stays limited to agreed shop areas. Later platform, plugin or theme changes may require another review of the adjustments.

After your enquiry

What we clarify next.

Ask about this service ↗

Describe what already exists: design, website or application. A specific journey with the views and states to develop or change is useful.

We then clarify which technology the site uses, where changes are tested and how they reach you. We also discuss missing content. Do not send repository tokens or production credentials through the enquiry form.

Terms used in this service

What does that mean?

Theme
A shop's templates and presentation rules. They determine substantial interface parts and also limit possible changes.
Purchase journey
The connected steps from product selection to the intended completion. Changes to one step are tested in the context of this flow.
Test shop
A suitable development and testing environment. It allows changes without exposing real visitors directly to untested functions.
Before your enquiry

Questions about the offer.

What is included, what do you need and what happens after your enquiry?

The process in detail →
Do you work with Shopify or WooCommerce?

We review the specific shop, version, extensions and access. Commitment to the adjustment follows this review, not the platform name alone.

Is a new design included?

A complete design is excluded. The intended change is defined beforehand using existing styling or approved designs.

Can checkout be changed without limits?

No. This depends on platform, plan and APIs. We check permitted options and exclude unavailable changes beforehand.

Do you work directly on the live shop?

Development and testing happen in a suitable test environment. Publication uses a separate agreed process with a rollback option.

Is a shop diagnosis also necessary?

Only if problems or priorities are still unclear. Where changes are already evidenced and clearly described, implementation can be scoped directly.

When does work begin?

We confirm the start and delivery deadline in writing after reviewing your documents. The agreed scope and complete source data determine the schedule.

Which access is needed?

A test shop, usable theme and necessary development permissions Specific change goals and approved presentation of affected elements Credentials must not be included in the enquiry. Details are agreed only after written commissioning.

What happens after handover?

One written follow-up round is included. The service scope lists the analyses, designs or technical changes covered by the package. We agree additional work with you before it begins.
